January 17 – March 7, 2025 (7 lessons) Grades JK - 1
Every Friday, 4:00pm -5:00pm
* Please note there is no lesson on January 24 due to PA Day.
Maximum 15 students; minimum 5 students
This program gives students an opportunity to explore and learn Mandarin as a language and expand their knowledge of Chinese culture. Throughout the term, students will strengthen their understanding of cultural components and learn the fundamentals of Mandarin through interactive songs, rhymes, art, stories, and games that make learning fun! Starting with ear tones and conversational skills, children will ultimately achieve an advanced level in reading, writing, and conversation, developing a robust vocabulary.

ABOUT THE INSTRUCTOR
Ms. Song has over 18 years of experience in teaching Mandarin in Toronto. She received a Bachelor’s degree in Mandarin Language - Teaching Mandarin as a Second Language. She is also a Registered Childhood Educator (RECE). Ms. Song has a great passion for teaching children and is enthusiastic about helping them advance their language skills. She enjoys working with children while providing them with a balanced course.
