What We Believe
-
At PCA Early Learning Centre, we strive to provide a nurturing and caring environment for children to feel safe to explore, develop and learn.
-
The PCA Early Learning Centre will work to provide a Christian Early Education program that will show God’s love through each area of learning and demonstrate that care to each child that participates in our program.
-
We believe that every child is a unique gift from God and that it is our responsibility and our privilege to offer every child that joins our program the highest level of care possible.
It is through demonstrating God’s love for them in our daily activities that will give these children a safe and loving environment in which they will explore, learn and grow. Not only will we provide the necessities of being fed, clothed, sheltered and loved, but also experiences in learning that will allow their minds to imagine, explore, discover and learn.
We believe that a child’s understanding of God must be encouraged and nurtured. It is essential that their expressions of faith are respected and honoured. We seek to enable children to explore their relationship with God in a place of physical and emotional safety. We believe the seeds that have been planted in these children at PCA Early Learning Centre will grow strong roots that will last a lifetime.
Testimonials
Early Learning Centre Staff
Peoples Christian Academy (PCA) administration, faculty and staff are chosen for their ability to reflect the principles and values as outlined in our Philosophy of Education. These Christian faculty members are highly qualified and dedicated teachers who see their career choice as a ministry to impart Christian values to the next generation of leaders. Faculty and administrative staff participate in devotions and seek to be examples and mentors for the students. A code of conduct for staff is outlined in the appropriate manuals and handbooks. There is a strong partnership with parents to reinforce Christian and family values in the students’ lives. Some of our faculty members are even PCA alumni.

Ever since I was young, I knew I wanted to work with children. I was blessed with wonderful teachers along the way that inspired me to want to follow suit. After serving for several years in Children's Ministry and in many different settings, I am now able to use my experiences to make PCA ELC a place where children are cared for and feel the love of Christ every day. I count it a blessing to be able to care for our youngest Eaglets and watch them as they grow.

It’s a blessing to be working here at PCA! Being able to incorporate God in my daily lessons and sing His praises is amazing. The world we live in today seems to be turning away from God, the Bible and the Truth. It is comforting knowing that I am planting the seeds of God’s love and the Gospel in the lives of the next generation! It is also a blessing to watch these seeds grow in their lives. PCA give this world hope and I’m grateful to be a part of that.

"Let the little children come to me, and do not hinder them, for the kingdom of God belongs to such as these.” Mark 10:13-14 (NIV)
Children are precious in God's sight. In ELC, we welcome all the children with God's love. I’m blessed to be part of the PCA ELC team where we get to demonstrate God’s love to children through how we raise and nurture them. It’s an honour to help them build good characters and to guide them to live out the abundant lives that God has already prepared for them.

I am so grateful that I am given the opportunity to team up with God and other staff here at PCA to make a difference to the next generation.
I truly believe that it is important for us to tell them about Jesus' love and start equipping them while they are young.
Being able to contribute in God's work and witnessing how He works in the hearts of the little ones & families every day is such an amazing yet humbling experience!

I believe that educators are the first stepping stone in helping children become successful individuals in their life journey. I am truly blessed to be able to work here at PCA to be a stepping stone in God’s special purpose. His provision and amazing love drives each day to be as successful as possible in a safe and fun place here at the ELC. I am very happy to have the privilege to witness our preschoolers grow and most importantly, to be able to teach a Christian based education to our wonderful children.

I am blessed to have been given this opportunity to teach at PCA in our ELC program. I feel humbled to be able to teach our students the love of God in this important and early stage of their lives. It is an honour to have been chosen by God for this role to share God's word with the next generation. I believe that with God's blessing and guidance
we will teach our students the essential building blocks to guide them on their relationship with God while building their academic lives.

I'm grateful to be part of the PCA family. I love working with children because every child is a special gift from God with a purpose. It is very important to plant strong spiritual roots from a young age because it is the foundation of their faith. Witnessing how God works in the hearts of these children and their families is an incredible and humbling experience. I'm thankful every day to be part of a community centred on Christ! As it says in Proverbs 22:6 (KJV), “Train up a child in the way he should go: And when he is old, he will not depart from it.”

I am truly thankful that God has given me the opportunity to serve Him here at PCA. By His grace I have been saved through faith and by His grace I am able to partake in His mighty deeds! I believe that through the sharing of God’s Word and the Holy Spirit working amongst us, children’s lives are continually transformed as they learn and experience the gracious love of God. In partnership with families, we can work together to provide a safe environment in which children can explore and create meaning from the world God has created for us to enjoy. “Jesus said, “Let the little children come to me and do not hinder them, for to such belongs the kingdom of heaven.”” (Matthew 19:14, ESV). To God be all glory, honour, and praise!

It is a blessing to be working at PCA. I really enjoy working with the young learners and share God's words with them. It is important to teach them what is right and wrong through God's words and support their academic growth and spiritual development. It is also an amazing journey for me to be able to grow with the children in God's love and His blessing.

Working at PCA is truly a blessing. I love working with the children and being able to speak and teach about the love of Jesus Christ and to help the children build a foundation at a young age. In the ELC we can freely speak about and spread the Gospel and Good News everyday. I am honoured and blessed that I work at PCA.

I am so thankful to be able to work at PCA. I love working here because I can share Jesus' love with these amazing preschoolers that I have the opportunity to lead and guide. It has been such a blessing becoming part of the PCA community and getting to interact with a group of people dedicated to displaying Christ's love in all they do.
