    • If you are not a Canadian or permanent resident, you must have a Canadian student visa in order to study in Canada.

    • To apply for a Canadian student visa you must have a letter of acceptance from a school.

    • PCA will issue the letter after the full tuition fees are paid. You take this letter to the Canadian immigration office in your country of origin to be issued a student visa.

    • Visa renewal: After you are a student, always be sure to pay school fees, receive a letter of acceptance for the next year and report to immigration for a visa renewal for the next academic year. Do this before your visa expires.

    • If your visa expires, it is difficult, if not impossible to have it renewed and you may be asked to return to your home country.

    • Please check with Canadian immigration to confirm that there have been no changes in government policy. The above information is valid at the time of this publication.

    • If the student fails to report to the school for the academic year, Canadian authorities will be notified.
