With a joyful passion to serve Jesus, children, families, and staff teams, "Mr. A" has taught every grade from JK to 12, has led, grown, and developed schools both in Canada and internationally, and has been conferred with both teaching and leadership awards during his nearly 30-year career in school ministry. He desires his life to be a testimony to the reality of God's manifest love, presence, and power so that in everything he does Jesus shows up, and so that he can fulfill the mandate of his favourite verse: "For to me, to live is Christ, and to die is gain" (Philippians 1:21). He is beyond privileged and blessed to be a part of the incredible, flourishing school community of PCA.

I love that PCA exists to educate the whole person—body, mind and spirit with equal emphasis and excellence. There is a wonderful rapport of genuine respect and care shared between teachers and students. We are a tight-knit community with an environment where students can and want to learn. PCA students and alumni are living proof that it is possible to receive a premium, high quality academic education while growing in character and in faith.

Teaching and leading at PCA now for almost two decades has been one of my greatest joys and privileges. My own three children have called this school "home" and have benefited from the excellent love, care and discipleship of staff. I have many passions in life which include cooking, time with family and friends, travelling to places without the light of Christ and of course teaching and serving in leadership.
Along with my husband, John, we view life on Earth a drill, as we prepare for a day when our Lord will come in all His glory.

Ever since I was young, I knew I wanted to work with children. I was blessed with wonderful teachers along the way that inspired me to want to follow suit. After serving for several years in Children's Ministry and in many different settings, I am now able to use my experiences to make PCA ELC a place where children are cared for and feel the love of Christ every day. I count it a blessing to be able to care for our youngest Eaglets and watch them as they grow.

“Having attended PCA all the way from Kindergarten to Grade 12, I was blessed to be nurtured in a godly environment, fostered to grow in my faith and understand the truth of the gospel. Teachers demonstrated what it means it to “take up the cross daily” (Luke 9:23), by instilling truth in their academic lessons, and taking time to support students as if we were their own family – a hallmark of true Christian community.”
