Sunday Morning Revue

Drama students portraying a family getting ready for Sunday Church service.

Just before the March break, we were treated to a very entertaining collection of vignettes, titled “Sunday Morning Revue,” written by none other than our in-house drama savant – Mr. Matthew Westacott. Our talented student cast brought us along for each narrative with exceptional delivery of dialogue, exposition, and presence in character, helmed by Lauryn in the director’s chair. Each act, unique in its wit and jest, was underlaid with a deeper meaning, expressing the varying struggles of the last few seasons. Stories of “invisible battles” faced seemingly alone, ultimately overcome by God’s abundant grace through the love of community – a wonderful reminder of the enduring spirit (Isaiah 40:31) and our PCA family built on Christ’s command to love one another.
