Who We Are

Since 1971 PCA has been transforming hearts and minds, offering students an academic education from a Christian perspective. At PCA we believe that education encompasses spiritual, intellectual, emotional and physical development.

The reputation that we have built since 1971 shows that students from PCA generally respond well to the rigours of university, achieve marks in university equal to those earned in high school and exhibit a high level of character and maturity. Our reputation continues to grow internationally, through referrals of very satisfied students and parents.

  • Peoples Christian school experience played a significant role in shaping who I am today. I saw role models in teachers of people who weren’t necessarily perfect but who were honestly trying to live out their lives as Christ followers. I think it also surrounded me with quality friends–many who would be near and distant friends for a lifetime... One of the greatest life skills I learnt was ‘how to study’. May sound like a funny thing to say but there are a lot of students who don’t know how to study–my experience at PCA really reinforced how to study and the benefits were great… throughout my whole academic career (and I studied for 12 years after high school to complete all the training I needed to be an obstetrician/gynaecologist), those good study habits got me through what seemed like impossible mountains of exams and assignments.

  • Why does my family travel over an hour in each direction just to drive our kids to Peoples Christian Academy? In the past half year at PCA,he comes home with Bible verses and interesting materials that have helped him to learn about spiritual truths. His reading has improved tremendously; he enjoys music instruction, and he feels safe on the school grounds. Everyone from the office to the after-school program staff show true Christian care.

  • I have been at PCA for almost 11 years. Middle is the transition from Junior to Senior School. The teachers in the Middle School are amazing, kind, caring and have a great sense of humour. It is a place where we can freely develop ourselves and find our passions. Sometimes, I even wanted to fail Middle School in order to stay there. Now I am in Senior School, but I always visit my Middle School teachers because they communicate with the students and care about them so much. They are more than teachers, they are my friends and my mentors.
