PCA Middle School students and teachers had the privilege to go downtown recently to give out winter clothing to people experiencing homelessness. Middle school families donated the winter clothing and the students and teachers helped preparing the sandwich bags.
As we went through the streets of Toronto, many shoppers were there to start their Christmas shopping. While the sights and sounds of the stores were very attractive, our focus was to look for people that were hidden and ignored.
We met many who ended up on the street because they could not afford the housing in Toronto. Many were very grateful with what we did. One of the teams met a lady whom we met last time when we had our last sandwich run. Another team met a Christian who was there to support the people experiencing homelessness and we had a good exchange of our passion and experience.
Thank you all who prayed for us and we thank God for giving us this opportunity to serve Him and spread His love and holding off the rain and the gust that were in the forecast.
