On Wednesday February 24th, a group of senior school students participated in the Pascal, Cayley and Fermat Mathematics Contests organized by the Centre of Education in Mathematics and Computing in University of Waterloo.
The Pascal, Cayley and Fermat Contests are an opportunity for students to have fun and to develop their mathematical problem solving ability.
Students from Grade 9 to 11 signed up voluntarily for one of the three contests according to their grades.
Last year, all three teams received Region-Wide Honor Roll, with Gengyang Wang being top 0.6% nation-wide, and Timothy Zang being top 8.3% nation-wide. Congratulations all on your hard work!
We pray for all participants this year to have fun and try their best!
