Remembrance Day Chapel was held at PCA today at 10:30am. The entire school and some parents gathered in the Gymnatorium as we remembered the important contributions of our brave Canadian soldiers. We were honoured to have Sergeant Roger Bernier, who had been in 3 three different war duties and still actively serving in the Canadian army, to share with us how his strong Christian faith has helped him to overcome many trials and hardships.
Our two grade 5 classes did a great job reciting the famous poem “In Flanders Fields” by Lieutenant-Colonel John McCrae.
After moment of silence, our Middle school strings ensemble presented “Theme from Schindler’s List”. The entire school, students, faculty and parents were moved by the beautiful melody and performance, as we reflected on the sacrifice of our Canadian soldiers.
We would like to thank all the students, teachers and staff who helped to organize this service.
