Congratulations to all our 8th Grade Graduates! We are very proud of you and excited to see you continue to grow in Christ’s love. We had a great graduation this year, as family members, friends and teachers all gathered to celebrate this milestone. Our Guest Speaker, Mr. Matthew Westacott, encouraged our Graduates to invite Jesus in their lives, and in every decision they make.
Congratulations to Curtis Kong who has been named Class of 2016 Grade 8 Salutatorian. Here is his outstanding graduation speech (credit to Mrs. Kong):
May God continue to bless you all as you transition into high school in September!
Beautiful poem written by our 8th Grade Grads, Alli Ng and Sabrina Ho:
Final Goodbye to Grade 8
What is a family to me?
It is a close group of people who bring you glee.
What does a family do?
They’re there for each other all the way through.
In the past two years our friendship has grown,
We’re like brothers and sisters, who would’ve known?
Even though we may grow apart,
We’ll hold these memories in our hearts.
Our class is full of love and smiles,
For each other we’d go the extra miles.
Right from the beginning it all started with “Hi!”
But with heavy hearts we now say “Goodbye.”
This class may be weird
But we are the most loving class you’ve ever seen,
We will always be PCA’s Grade Eight
Graduating Class of Twenty-Sixteen.
