The Junior School, joined by the Early Learning Centre, presented a wonderful Christmas Concert last Thursday. The concert started off with children from the Early Learning Centre singing “This Little Light of Mine”, “Feliz Navidad” and “Every Move I Make”. Their lovely heavenly voices and actions brought joy to the whole audience.
JK and SK students then came on the stage and presented “The Virgin Mary had A Baby Boy”, “Wasn’t That A Mighty Day” and “Silent Night”. Their songs prepared the audience for a time of worship.
The musical “Follow the Star”, created by Susie Williams, Luke Gambill and David Ebensberger, brought alive the nativity scene. During the time of King Herod, magi followed the star that brought them to Jesus. They worshiped our Lord and presented Him with gold, frankincense, and myrrh. Scripture reading and songs from the soloists and choir reminded all of us our hope rests in the one and only true God. Parents and guests joined and sang “O Come All Ye Faithful” at the very end.
This Christmas, may you find peace and joy from our Lord and Saviour, Jesus Christ.
