Two of the PCA students were in their room and one of them was reading her Bible out loud with the book of Proverbs.  There was a knock at the door and they answered.  It was a lady from the next room who came to thank them for the wonderful Scripture she heard being read.  She said the walls are a little thin, but she was so glad because the verses were such an encouragement to her.  The two girls excitedly shared the story and they were overwhelmed with joy by their experience.  Our Vice Principal reminded them that our job is to simply try to faithfully honour God and He will miraculously use us to accomplish His work.

Testimony from 2016/17 Grade 8 Ottawa Graduation Trip

We moved schools from Toronto to Markham on the great testimony from good friends who have children in PCA. We are so incredibly thankful that we did. PCA has been a daily blessing to our family. One of our children has graduated from ELC to JK, and we currently have another enrolled in ELC. Not only are the staff kind and caring (which is a hope you have in all daycares), the ELC supersede expectations by also coming alongside parents in the building up of children in the Lord. They do this with a spirit of accountability that you rarely see in any other academic institutions; the staff nurture and love, teach, correct, and encourage – and we are constantly amazed at the level of care they provide. PCA feels like an extension of our church family; we feel like that is the case because the of the culture of “living together as a church family” that comes from the leadership of the school.

If you are considering PCA, know that your children will grow here: physically (my picky 3 year old eats so well here!), mentally (Montessori-like learning) emotionally and spiritually. Enrolling our children at PCA has been one of the best decisions we have ever made, and we would recommend it to any parent in a heartbeat.
S. and L. Ho

I am a PCA lifer (I went to this school from K-12)! Not only has this school taught me about following Jesus, it has also given me several opportunities to practically live out following Jesus.  I had opportunities to serve my local community and also go abroad on short-term mission trips to Senegal, Africa, Chiang Mai, Thailand, and Tijuana, Mexico.  These experiences let me see what missionaries do on the field and inspired me to follow suit.  One of my favourite things about PCA, however, is the teachers who invested in me, mentored me, and walked with me.  I would not be who I am without them, so to those teachers who have also become my friends, thank you for seeing potential in me, being patient with me, and never being short of encouragement for me.

I enjoyed being taught in the Middle School and the teachers have inspired me to continue learning with an open and positive mind.  I appreciate all the hard work of the teachers, it means so much to me.

Thank you for your hard work through the school year.  My daughter had a wonderful year.  We are so grateful that she had many wonderful teachers in the Middle School.

Thanks for all the advice and counselling… the teachers have been a very important part of my life.  I can’t thank them enough for all they taught me about various subjects, faith, life and everything else in between.

Words will never be able to express how much Middle School has changed my life.  I know the teachers would do anything for us.  My personality was influenced by my class and by the teachers.  Thanks for being our teachers and friends!

I have been at PCA for almost 11 years.  Middle is the transition from Junior to Senior School.  The teachers in the Middle School are amazing, kind, caring and have a great sense of humour.  It is a place where we can freely develop ourselves and find our passions.  Sometimes, I even wanted to fail Middle School in order to stay there.  Now I am in Senior School, but I always visit my Middle School teachers because they communicate with the students and care about them so much.  They are more than teachers, they are my friends and my mentors.  Middle School is almost like my family, my home, and a place where I can find happiness!
