Today, we began our study in the book of Philippians and also heard the incredible testimony of a missionary who committed nine years of his life living with the Yembiyembi people in Papua New Guinea in order to bring the Gospel, translate the Bible in their own language, and begin a church movement among them. Our second day of ministry to the Mexican people involved the building of three new homes to bless three families. What a privilege to serve! As well, our students felt much more confident in handling a hammer and saw and more knowledgeable about building the simple home structure. We are almost halfway through our trip now and we pray that nothing will hinder our students from experiencing God in Mexico and learning about His heart for the lost.
