The PCA Science Fair Team had an incredible year. We had 4 entries this year:
Honourable Mention- Isabella Y.: Ticket to a World of Sound and Crickets (Crickets growing accustomed to their surroundings)
Honourable Mention- Joshua H. and Isaac P.: Lean for the Greens (The Effect of Heat/Climate Change on Plant Growth)
Honourable Mention- Mark Maurice and Michael Abdel Messih: Shape’s Highest Structural Integrity (How Different Shapes Maintain Structural Integrity to Overcome Impact)
Gold Medal- Hannah Cheang: Fish Powered Plant Growth (A New Take on Hydroponics to Increase Food Production)
She will represent York Region in the Canada Wide Science Fair!
As our teachers put it: “They are all hard working students with great character, and many of them voluntarily and openly shared Biblical perspectives in their work. We are proud of their accomplishments but more importantly proud of who they are.”
Praise God for his grace and goodness! Through Christ, our students rose above the challenges they faced with the pandemic this year. So very proud of them!
