Hi! My name is Samantha Lo and I graduated from PCA in 2013. It was during my years at PCA that I heard the gospel for the very first time I was faced with the reality of my own brokenness, yet I encountered the overwhelming love of a God who desired an intimate relationship with me. I recognized my need for a Saviour and I found the full freedom, joy, and purpose that my soul was longing for through the life, death, and resurrection of Jesus Christ alone. In my high school years, God began to grow my heart for the lost around the world as He took me to India and Mexico.
Afterwards, I headed off to Montreal to study Microbiology and Immunology at McGill University. Throughout my time there, I was involved with Power to Change (a Christian club on campus) as well as a local church. As I grew in my relationship with God and began leading Bible studies and discipling younger women, I saw how God was growing my heart for student ministry. After my second year of university, I headed to a closed country in East Asia for a six-week missions trip with P2C. We spent our time on the university campuses learning the language, building relationships with the local students, and sharing the gospel with them. I met people who had never heard of Jesus before, yet were so hungry to learn more. I saw first-hand how the harvest is plentiful, but the labourers are few.
And now, God has called me back to East Asia with P2C to serve for a longer term. I arrived in East Asia in early September and I will be spending the next year here as a labourer in this harvest field. I am now studying and living at a university campus mainly filled with ethnic minority groups. In a city with almost no Christian presence, I will be spending the next year building relationships and engaging in evangelism and discipleship with students from unreached people groups. In the same way that the gospel has transformed my life, I desire for the transformation in the lives of the East Asian people. By God’s grace, these students will become followers of Christ who take the gospel with them back to their villages, to the rest of the country, and to all the nations!

- Local believers who will continue to spiritually multiply
- Unity amongst our team of 6 individuals
- More faithful labourers to invest into East Asia
